Although Nokia did not make any promise earlier, but today May 25th, 2011, Nokia has officially confirmed that 7.1 Mango update will be the Operating System of first WP smartphone which will hit the shelves this fall. Nokia has already sent a working prototype to Microsoft, and now they are pretty confident that the phone will be available before 2011 ends.

If Nokia is going to launch Windows Phone OS in typical Nokia’s style different phones for different tastes, then we will see more than one device simultaneously.
