Which is thinner credit card or the display?

Samsung has released yet another slimmest display intended for cell phones. According to Samsung it is the thinnest of all displays ever. The company has always come up with superior, thinner and crispier displays. As visible in the official image, new LCD has even made a credit card look thick! The new LCD's thickness is only 0.74 millimeters. Previous version of display was 0.79 millimeters. That isn't much of a difference but still the display has the “World's Smallest Display†tag with it. From the official statements it seems as if Samsung will abandon their old fashioned 1.7 mm displays and will start mass production of their new slim LCD screen. We may see some mobile phones containing the thin display in the second quarter of 2007.
