Review

Nokia N91 was first launched with a 4 GB hard drive. This memory is sufficient for putting about a thousand high quality songs. We can say that this phone is the first Nokia product to challenge the stylish i-Pod. Due to large memory this phone got respectable market attention, but of course it couldn't beat i-Pod. For multimedia enthusiasts there is also an 8GB version of the product in the market.

Screen resolution of the cell phone is 176 x 208 pixels. The apparently visible key pad, beneath the screen, has some basic call attending and rejecting buttons and further below there are buttons for media player. This is basically a flip and when we open the flip a full fledge keypad becomes visible.

Nokia N91

As N91 is considering the music function so it supports a lot of media file formats. Voice is also stereo and the phone comes with a Microsoft media player 10. So it's easy to manage the play list for managing the list of songs. The cell also comes with FM stereo radio.

The mobile has a 2 mega pixel camera for shooting still pictures and videos. Although now a days 2 megapixel is common and it's present in almost all new mobile phones, but it is sufficient for taking pictures and even getting reasonable 4x7 printouts. There is no flash/LED with camera. As the product is 3G phone so is has video call feature as well. N91 supports lots of java and Symbian applications.

The mobile phone can also be connected to pc by USB, Bluetooth, and wireless LAN. Battery life is between 170 to 190 hours in standby mode and up to 10 hours in music playback.

Pros and Cons

N91 had classic with classic features but there are some draw backs that it is little bit heavier then an average mobile phone. There is some problem in the firmware and several times it hangs due to this problem. The quality of the pictures taken through is no as good as N90 and there is lack of flash with the cam. The cell phone also eats up battery like candies. If you priority is music not pictures then this is one of the best choice for you.
