Eid is a special occasion for all of the Muslims. People celebrate it with a great enthusiasm. People especially ladies and girls start the Eid preparations about a month before this day. Girls are seriously worried about the preparations for this day and can never satisfy themselves. They take a lot of care about their outfits and they want to look attractive, pretty and different from others.

As we know, there are two major festivals which Muslims celebrate annually. One is Eid-ul-fitr and the other is Eid-ul-Adha. I believe that on these two occasions our dressings must be according to the tastes of these festivals. Eid-ul-fitr is celebrated with more enthusiasm as compare to Eid-ul-Adha so our dressing, jewelry, and make up should be light on Eid-ul-Adha as compared to Eid-ul-fitr. Young girls should avoid heavy jewelry and make up on both of these occasions because excessive use of these things destroys the natural beauty.

No color is good or bad, it's the combination of colors that counts. If Eid is coming in winter than I must recommend you to use darker colours but if the Eid is coming in summer then I think you must prefer light colours. The colour combinations also depend upon the natural colour of your skin. If your skin is dark in colour then I must say that use of light colours will be better for you to make yourself attractive. Use of dark colours for the girls having fair skin will prove best to make them pretty. If the colour of your skin is neither dark nor fair but some thing between these two colours then the choice of colours is up to you. If you want your skin to look a little darker then I must recommend you to select the dresses which are lighter in colour but if you want your skin to give a look of fair colour then you must use the dresses having dark colour.

In spring you must avoid shades of brown. Use of bright colours is best for spring season. But in autumn use of earthy colours and shades of brown look pretty and attractive.

Taking about general colour combinations I must say that the white colours can be use with any of the dark colours and black can be used with any of the light colours. Other than these the colour combination of every dark colour with its light shades also gives a pretty look. Except these, combination of red and black is also very popular, especially in winter season while in summer it is not advisable to choose the combination of red and black.
