Hannah Montana is one of the very popular sitcoms presented by “the Disney channel”. This year (2009) its third season is being on aired. Its story is based on a girl who is living double life. She is leading a normal life as an average teenager (Miley Steward) and she is also secretly a pop star “Hannah Montana”. The main role is greatly played by Miley Cyrus.

Miley steward does her best to manage both lives in such a way that no one can ever figure out her secrete. In this sitcom only her family and very close friends knew about her double life. Her father Robbie ray steward (Billy Ray Cyrus), who is also her manager helps Miley a lot in getting out of various troubles which she faces both as Miley steward and Hannah Montana.

In the show Miley has an elder brother Jackson played by Jason Earles. He is the laziest person in this sitcom. He pretends as though he doesn’t like his younger sister Miley and he usually says that he is sick of Miley’s double life. Both of them kept on fighting in most of the episodes, but still whenever Miley is in trouble Jackson is always there to help her. Miley also try her best to help him.

Jackson always keeps on thinking of ways of earning money. For this he works in Rico’s father’s shop. Rico is another character who is Miley’s class mate. He is the youngest student in class and also very intelligent but a spoiled kid. He is described as “evil” by some of the characters. He is the only main character who does not know Miley’s greatest secret. Her two best friends, Lily (Emily Osment) and Oliver (Mitchel Musso) and her terrible brother Jackson know her secret. Her best friend Lily also has a secret identity as Lola. She goes in concerts with Hannah Montana to support her as her companion an assistant. Both girls use wigs to make them look different. Miley uses blonde wig while Lily uses wigs of different bright colors like blue and pink etc. Lily is Miley’s very special friend. She is very athletic and loves sport.

Miley’s friends and family had contributed a lot to maintain Hannah Montana and to keep Miley’s secret. Miley steward knew and can handle all the difficulties which are usually faced by a normal teenager and also can realize the hurdles faced by a pop star. She perfectly manages her both lives.
