Finally the sixth installment of the harry potter is in theaters. The harry potter series is based on the book written by J. K. Rowling whose seven parts are already released. While the movie of 7th part will be released in two parts as “Deathly hallows I” and “deathly hallows II.”

Half blood prince is directed by David Yates. He has previously directed “harry potter and the order of the phoenix” and is going to direct “Deathly Hallows” I and II.

In this movie Lord Voldemort has gained maximum powers. This time he is trying to take over both Muggles and wizardry world. Hogwarts is not a safe place as it once was. Harry potter (Daniel Radcliffe) along with his best friends Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) is trying his best to stop him but this time it’s not that easy.

This year harry potter is taking secrete lessons from the headmaster Albus Dumbledore (Micheal Gambon). Professor Dumbledore is trying to help harry so he can prepare himself for the final and the real battle against Lord Voldemort. Together they are trying to find the keys to unlock the secrete defenses of Lord Voldemort because it will be impossible to kill him directly.

New characters are introduced in this movie for example Professor Horace Slughorn (Jim Broadbent) who was an old friend and colleague of professor Dumbledore. Dumbledore is convincing him to return to Hogwarts and teach because he thinks that he holds some crucial information. There is a little change in the Hogwarts staff. You’ll observe a great change in the behavior of harry potter’s class mates who are now grown up teenagers. Furthermore this movie is rated as PG because of violence and language.

I think that all the harry potter movies are great but not as good as its book. Throughout the series a lot of such incidents are excluded from the movies which are very important to understand the plot completely. If you deeply want to understand the whole plot then you definitely have to go through the book.
