Motorola ROKR E2 is the successor of ROKR E1. The new mobile pone offers better connectivity and music support. The product is bar shaped, just like a candy. E2 is available in black and silver colors. Black version looks more stylish and is less prone to scratches. The product weighs about 107 g, and its dimensions are 106 x 49.5 x 18 mm. The sides of cell phone are made of soft plastic whereas the front and back panel is rather hard. Soft sides prevent the cell phone from slipping out of hands. On left side of E2 there are side keys for controlling media player, the keys also have with back light which helps a lot in low light conditions. Expansion slot for memory card is also on the same side. At top of E2 there is a 3.5mm jack in which you can plug normal headphones or speakers.

Review
ROKR E2 has a very crisp and bright display. The screen offers a large viewing angle. In terms of picture quality it is even better than Samsung D600 and W810i! E2 also incorporates SCREEN3 technology which allows user to access entertainment, sports, news and premium content for free.
ROKR E2 also has a miniUSB port. Speed of USB port is pretty good, our songs and videos were transferred in no time. The product also has a facility of USBLAN which allows users to crate a Personal Area Network (PAN). E2 also has a 1.3 MP camera, which is reasonable if you want to share your pictures over internet. If you are expecting high quality printouts than ROCKER E2 will certainly disappoint you.
Instead of iTunes, ROKR E2 now has RealPlayer installed due to which the product can support a variety of formats. E2 also has a stereo FM Radio. The music player pauses when a call comes and resumes the playback on termination of a call. It is first Motorola’s product to support iRadio, using iRadio you can download your favorite radio programs through internet. E2 also has embedded Bluetooth technology. Now you can listen to your favorite songs wirelessly through a stereo Bluetooth headphone, even up to a distance of 30 meters!
Pros and Cons
Battery life of E2 was pretty good if we consider its brilliant display. The downside of E2 is that is has only 10 MB shared memory. If you want to enjoy the product’s media playing abilities then you will definitely have to get 1 or 2 GB memory. If the cell had a 2 mega pixel camera and supported 3G then this product would have done miracles! Even then E2 has all the bells and whistles to satisfy a large section of teenager population. ROKER E2 does not have a whole lot of features, but performs extremely well in the facilities it offers.
